TGIF

I love this picture of Lizzy! She looks so perplexed, like she is scratching her head and wondering what the devil is going on. We are going to take her on the bus for the first time tomorrow. The public library is having a book sale and I want to stock up on childrens books for Lizzy. I think that children's books are $.50 each and I am bringing $40 to spend. It is a good thing she has her own bookshelf. I was looking for a book to read to her yesterday and couldn't find the box I had them in so she got to listen to a mystery. Having a bookshelf is no good if we are not using it.
This next picture of Lizzy is from a few days ago. I keep trying her toys with her but she is not interested in them yet. When I shake this hippo rattle for her she just stares into my face. I guess that Mommy and Daddy are still the best toys for her but I am looking forward to playing with her and hearing her laugh.
