Cathcing up on Lost Time

I have a hard time remembreing what I did ten minutes ago, let alone five days ago. I am going to try to get caught up to today in this blog so I can write about more current and remembered things. Speaking of which, the only thing I am sure happened last Friday is that I slept in. Lizzy too. Aside from that I am drawing a complete blank. I think Friday may have been when we dressed Lizzy up for the cold and went out for slurpies.
On Saturday we walked to the mall to get enough groceries to make dinner. Tomatoes are an essential ingredient in burritos. I also remember staying up later then I meant to. Oh Lizzy and I also had a long splashy bath. This time Patrick's hands were nice and warm when he got Lizzy out of the tub so she didn't cry so much.
Sunday was a change of pace, I rented a car and drove to Edson. My friend Amy was there visiting her brother. I brought her back to Edmonton for a day before her flight to Sudberry. We had a good visit in the car during the two hour drive back to Edmonton. She was lamenting being away from her neices and nephew and I was lamenting being away from Lizzy. It was the longest time we have spent together since well before Lizzy was born and we got a lot of catching up done. Yes, we stayed up late.
Yesterday was spent with Amy. I did take advantage of the rental and drive Patrick to and from work though. We spent most of our visit playing with Lizzy, though we also gave her a lesson on being a mall rat. The day went by much too fast and after going out to dinner it was soon time for me to tae her to the airport. Her flight left at 1am today. I miss her but not the Jellyfish song that she got stuck in my head. I hope that she has Baby Beluga stuck in hers! The Nursing student, Joanne, who visits me came by with her tutor and admired Lizzy for almost an hour. They also gave me some information I had requested.
Today I dropped Patrick off at his work and brought Lizzy in to meet some of his co-workers. We would have met more but we were a little late so we only got to see the ones who were in the office. I think Patrick was grumpy at us for making him late. Next we went to Wal-Mart and got a few essentials like Kitty Litter, that are hard to carry on the bus. After Walmart we got some groceries and went home. We were only home long enough to unload the car and put the cold stuff away before we went out again to return the car. I got a little lost down town so the return trip on the bus was actualy faster then in the car. We were on time getting the car back though. After dinner we went for a halk hour walk as part of my new program to shed the baby weight. It was some of the Info I had Joanne look up for me. I don't want to be too aggressive about weight loss and not hve enough milk for Lizzy. It was a nice walk. Patrick has agreed to walk with me three days a week and I will go alone or with Lizzy on another three. It is a good thing that I like to walk.
