Gluttony
A quick note about yesterday. It was a good day but at times a hard one. I had to leave Lizzy with the neighbour for about half an hour between when I had to go for my councelling appointment and when Patrick got home from work. This was the first time I left Lizzy with someone other then family or very close friend. It was hard. The appointment went well and I am looking forward to making even more progress this year.
Now about the gluttony, I woke up with Patrick this morning and felt that I had to feed Lizzy. I woke her up and fed her. She was quite happy to be getting breakfeast without having to cry and wake me up for it. I think we may have overdone it though. While I was burping her it all came right back up. Disgusting. The moral of this story is that I need to feed her on her schedule not mine. After that auspecious start to the day I decided it was better to just go back to bed and start over again later.
Our day's second start was at noon. We had breakfeast while watching the news and then went to Lizzy's three month check-up at the doctor's office. Lizzy is 14 pounds 6 ounces and 24 and 1/4 inches. This puts her in the 60th percentile. The doctor said that she is a textbook example of a healthy baby. Yes I am a proud mother. After dinner Patrick and I took Lizzy for a walk to get some exercise. It was a nice walk but chilly. Now we are sitting around the computers having family basement time.
